2002 BMW Z8
5,703 Z8s were built worldwide and only 2,543 were sold in the United States. This makes the Z8 one of the rarest car in my collection. It was designed by Henrik Fisker, the same person that designed cars like the Aston Martin DB9, V8 Vantage, Fisker Karma between many more. This car was hand built, every single detailed was made to perfection and you can definitely see it with many body lines and a factory provided hardtop that gives it a more rigid body and lets you go into convertible mode for those sunny cruising days.
The Z8 comes equipped with a 4.9L V8 that puts out 400 HP at 6,600 RPM. With such an engine and only weighing 3500 LBS the Z8 has a 0 - 60 of only 4.2 seconds. You can hear the roar of the engine as soon as you turn it on. The Z8 also came equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Shifting through the gears as you hear that V8 roar is the best feeling in the world, specially while you are in one of the most iconic BMW ever made.
The Z8 comes equipped with 18" wheels and 4 wheel ABS disk brakes for style and maximum stopping power. For a perfect ride it has the fully independent tuned suspension, it gives you that sporty feel without loosing the ability to street drive.
The interior, the cockpit, the command center in which you will want to spend all your days. The interior is stunning, with everything within reach, 3 spoke steering wheel and many gauges to look at really give it that sporty look and feel. The shifter is located perfectly for your hand and the knob is wonderful to use, this makes sure you never miss a shift. A great feature that can not be left out is the push to start button.
